In the early morning hours of October 13, 2015, in Marietta, Georgia, the life of 20-year-old Jhavares Doster, an African American male, was tragically cut short. Just before 1 a.m., at the intersection of Ember Street and Sherlock Drive in the Oak Creek Estates neighborhood, Doster was fatally shot while sitting inside a vehicle with a friend.
