In the early hours of September 2, 2015, a dispute at Club Status on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon, Georgia, tragically escalated, leading to the death of 29-year-old Aquallo Davis Jr. Davis, a Black male, was in the parking lot of the nightclub when a fight that began inside the establishment spilled out into the open. Amid the chaos, gunshots were fired, and Davis was struck. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:18 a.m.
