In the late summer of 2010, a violent encounter in Baltimore tragically cut short the life of 44-year-old John Jr. Lemon, a Black/African American man. The incident that would ultimately lead to his death unfolded in the early morning hours of August 18, 2010. In the 2600 block of Reisterstown Road, an altercation occurred in which Lemon was struck.
