Jonquaves Holcomb, an 18-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Friday, December 26, 2014, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred at the intersection of East Cedar Street and Japonica Street around 8:24 p.m.
Following the shooting, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation that quickly led to the identification and arrest of a suspect. On December 27, 2014, investigators took 19-year-old Troy Eugene Francis into custody.
