On the night of August 24, 2014, 29-year-old Quintroy Roberts, an African American male, was fatally shot in front of 1013 Carrie Street in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred around 11:10 p.m., and Roberts was pronounced dead at 12:03 a.m. on August 25 by Chief Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose Sr. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.
