In the spring of 2013, a young woman’s life was tragically cut short in Augusta, Georgia. Courtney La'Aceondra Bell, a 23-year-old female, was fatally shot on April 30, 2013, at the Red Carpet Inn on Gordon Highway. The incident stemmed from an argument with a man who then pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots at her. Bell sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
