Dontreal Evans, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 30, 2021, in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Around 4:15 p.m., Evans was inside a vehicle in the 900 block of South Monitor Avenue when he was struck by gunfire.
