William Nellum, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on March 5, 2021, in Palatine, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the 1500 block of Silver Lane. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, William Nellum was shot in the leg, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy confirmed that his death was a homicide.
