Matthew Sivells, a 26-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Sunday, August 26, 2007, in Baltimore, Maryland. The shooting occurred around 2:00 p.m. in the 1900 block of Cecil Avenue. Born on June 18, 1981, Matthew was known affectionately as “Barrel” to his friends and family.
