Catherine Jackson, a 29-year-old African American woman, was tragically murdered on January 11, 2018, in her home in East St. Louis, Illinois. At the time of her death, she was eight months pregnant with her fifth child. Jackson was found shot multiple times inside her residence on North Ninth Street.
