In the late morning of November 23, 2022, the life of 22-year-old Brailon Jack, an African American male, was tragically cut short in New Iberia, Louisiana. Just before noon, at the intersection of Field and Elizabeth streets, Jack was discovered lying in the road with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival.
