In the late summer of 2022, the life of 27-year-old Mickeal James Arvie was tragically cut short in Lafayette, Louisiana. On the evening of September 20th, police were called to the 400 block of Marigold Loop, a residential street less than a mile from Debaillon Park. There, they discovered Arvie inside his vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate aid rendered by the officers and the arrival of emergency personnel, his injuries proved to be fatal, and he died at the scene.
