Javorius Tykies Scott, a 24-year-old male known professionally as the rapper JayDaYoungan, was shot and killed on the evening of July 27, 2022, in his hometown of Bogalusa, Louisiana. The fatal incident occurred just before 6 p.m. in the 600 block of Superior Avenue, where Scott and his father, Kenyatta Scott Sr., were sitting in the front yard of their residence.
