A 36-year-old African American woman, Rolanda Williams, was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana, on the evening of May 20, 2022. The incident took place in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway. Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the location but were unable to save her, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
