Gerald Lynn 'Doc' LaFleur, a male resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was shot and killed on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022. The fatal incident took place at approximately 2:00 a.m. in front of Juicy's Lounge Nightclub on 3rd Avenue. Responding officers from the Lake Charles Police Department discovered LaFleur at the scene, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
In the period following the shooting, LaFleur's case has remained without a resolution, and no arrests have been announced.
