In the early hours of a Monday morning in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of Malecah Cah Demoulin, a 23-year-old male, was cut short by a burst of gunfire. On October 25, 2021, Demoulin was in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn on Airline Highway when the fatal shooting occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second victim, a woman who was with him, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
