On October 9, 2021, a 29-year-old male from Mission, Texas, Jose L. Mosqueda Jr., was found deceased in Sulphur, Louisiana. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a call regarding a shooting at a residence on Post Oak Road around noon. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Mr. Mosqueda with what appeared to be a fatal gunshot wound.
