In the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 11, 2021, the life of 16-year-old JaQuan Green was tragically cut short by an act of gun violence in New Orleans. The shooting, which also claimed the life of 17-year-old Rashaad Broussard, unfolded around 7:12 a.m. in the 4200 block of Hamburg Street, located in the St. Bernard area of the city.
