A young life was tragically cut short in New Orleans, leaving a family and community to grapple with the sudden loss. Jeremy Charles Jamison Jr., a 26-year-old African American male, died on May 6, 2021. A native and resident of Marrero, Louisiana, he was a graduate of Edna Karr High School and worked as a self-employed laborer in the construction field. His death left behind his expectant companion and their unborn son.
