In the early hours of a Tuesday in October 2020, the quiet of a Shreveport, Louisiana neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to reports of shots fired just after midnight on October 6th, police discovered a grim scene in the 1500 block of Garden Street in the Allendale neighborhood. Near a vacant residence, three men lay dead, all victims of gunshot wounds. One of the deceased was Rodney Bryant, a 58-year-old male from Shreveport.
