In the summer of 2020, a tragedy struck a New Orleans neighborhood, forever altering the lives of one family. Devonte 'D-Man' Bryant, a 9-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the evening of July 13th. The incident occurred in the 2100 block of Pauger Street, located in the city's Seventh Ward.
