In the quiet evening hours of October 20, 2019, in Lafayette, Louisiana, the life of 22-year-old Tre'von Adams, a Black male, was tragically cut short. Responding to a call of shots fired on the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Lafayette Police officers arrived to a grim scene.
