In the warm evening of July 8, 2019, in Lafayette, Louisiana, the life of Ronald 'Lil Luby' Taylor Jr., a 24-year-old male, was brought to a violent and tragic end. In the vicinity of the Martin Luther King Center on Cora Street, a dispute escalated into gunfire. Taylor was struck by the bullets and rushed to a local hospital for medical attention.
