On the night of October 13, 2018, Brandon 'King Tut' Broussard, a 28-year-old professional boxer, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was transported to a local hospital where he ultimately died from his injuries. Broussard was a graduate of Carencro High School and had attended Louisiana Tech, majoring in graphic design.
