In the spring of 2018, a violent outburst in the Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans claimed the life of 33-year-old Carlos Rodrique. On the evening of April 4th, gunfire erupted in the 3300 block of Garden Oaks Drive, resulting in a quadruple shooting that left two men dead and two others, a woman and a 17-month-old child, wounded. Rodrique was one of the two fatal victims in the incident.
