In the summer of 2020, tragedy struck the city of New Orleans with the untimely death of Devon D. Coakley Sr., a 45-year-old African American man. On the evening of Monday, July 20th, Coakley was in the 2600 block of North Rocheblave Street when he was fatally shot.
