In the spring of 2018, the life of Ronnie Shallerhorn, a 42-year-old African American man, was tragically cut short in New Orleans. On the evening of March 26th, gunshots echoed in the 0 block of Acadiana Place. When first responders arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were rushed to the hospital, but Shallerhorn succumbed to his injuries.
