Michael Odoms Jr., a 23-year-old African American male, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018. A native and resident of Marrero, Louisiana, a community in the New Orleans metropolitan area, he was known to those around him through his work as a cook at the Flamingo A-Go-Go Restaurant. His life was rooted in his family, as the son of Michael Odoms Sr. and the late Shondanell Lewis, and the grandson of Ulyesses Jr. and Murdlia Odoms, and Rudolph and Phyllis Pelrean.
