On the evening of Monday, October 14, 2024, tragedy struck in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans. Robert Newsham, a 77-year-old male, was found inside a residence on the 2500 block of North Miro Street with at least one gunshot wound. The New Orleans Police Department responded to a call about the shooting, and upon their arrival, Emergency Medical Services pronounced him deceased at the scene.
