In the late afternoon of September 29, 2016, in a mobile home just north of Natchitoches, Louisiana, a young man's life was cut short. Justin D. Davis, a 23-year-old male, was found lying on the floor near the front door, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. When Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Deputies arrived at the residence on Johnson Chute Road, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Coroner's Office.
