In the late hours of a Friday in New Orleans, tragedy struck Bryant P. Phillips, a 44-year-old man, who was found fatally shot. On February 27, 2015, police responded to a call in the 4800 block of Coveview Court in eastern New Orleans. Upon arrival, they discovered Phillips inside a vehicle, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, but Phillips' injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead. The Orleans Parish Coroner
