A spray of bullets on a Thursday morning in the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans brought a violent end to the life of 25-year-old Nathaniel Allen on March 18, 2010. Known to his friends and family as 'Nizzy,' Allen and another man, 37-year-old Corey Weaver of Kenner, were found fatally wounded on the ground in the 4200 block of Hollygrove Street near Pear Street. Responding to a call of gunfire around 10:20 a.m., New Orleans police discovered the tragic scene.
