Detavius Quatae Bruton, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 24, 2020, in Asheboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Coleridge Road, where Bruton was shot and later pronounced dead at Randolph Health. The shooting also resulted in injuries to three teenagers: Azion Tremaine Fair, 18, Jemen Davone Portis, 18, and a 15-year-old from Montgomery County.
