Jacqueline Thompson, a 47-year-old African American woman from Greensboro, NC, was tragically shot and killed on September 19, 2017. Jacqueline was a dedicated anti-violence activist who spent much of her adult life advocating for peace and standing against black-on-black crime. Her life was cut short when she was shot at a home on East Gate City Boulevard. She was taken to Moses Cone Hospital around 1 a.m., where she died shortly after arriving.
