Avante Adams, a 20-year-old male of Black ethnicity, tragically passed away on September 9, 2021, in Toledo, Ohio. He was one of two victims in a double shooting incident that occurred on the night of September 8, 2021, in the 1300 block of Palmetto Avenue. Avante Adams and 26-year-old Mannoletto Gilmore were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were immediately transported to Toledo Hospital. Unfortunately, Adams succumbed to his injuries, while Gilmore remained in critical condition.
