On a warm evening in Philadelphia, on Sunday, May 29, 2022, the lives of a father and son were tragically cut short in a hail of gunfire. Nine-year-old Jamel Parks and his 37-year-old father, Gerald Parks, were returning home from a Memorial Day weekend cookout.
