On a Tuesday evening, June 1, 2021, the life of 22-year-old Dashean Lee, a Black male from Philadelphia, was tragically cut short. At approximately 9:52 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers were called to the 1200 block of East Chelten Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Lee lying wounded in the street.
