On a Thursday afternoon in South Philadelphia, the life of 21-year-old Khalil Lamont Williams-Huskey, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On March 5, 2020, at approximately 1:26 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers were called to the 2100 block of Carpenter Street. There, they found Williams-Huskey suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Despite the immediate response and efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced deceased that afternoon.
