In what appeared to be a setup, Nana Yaw Opoku, a 33-year-old Ghanaian man, was shot and killed inside his Southwest Philadelphia apartment on the evening of April 18, 2019. Known to his friends as Junior US, Opoku was at his residence on Lindbergh Boulevard when the fatal events unfolded. He was in the company of three women when a knock came at the door.
