On the evening of Wednesday, July 4, 2018, a tragic incident unfolded in Philadelphia that resulted in the death of 24-year-old Michael Boateng. At approximately 10:09 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of Buist Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered an unresponsive Mr. Boateng suffering from a gunshot wound.
