In the late summer of 2015, the life of 29-year-old Josue E. Berrios, a Hispanic male, was cut short on a street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. On the evening of September 26th, in the 700 block of West Tilghman Street, an altercation led to Berrios being fatally wounded by gunfire. The incident was one of a number of killings that took place in the Lehigh Valley that year.
