Elijah Jackson, a 16-year-old African American male from Erie, PA, tragically died on July 24, 2015. He was killed during a party near the intersection of West 29th and Summit streets. The incident occurred amidst a rise in gun violence in Erie, with four people fatally shot and ten others injured in July 2015 alone.
