Kathryn Berry, a 42-year-old Black female, tragically lost her life on September 27, 2014, in Philadelphia, PA. She was shot while walking her dog near Fairmount Park in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., when an unidentified gunman shot her in the forehead and leg. Kathryn was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital in extremely critical condition but was later pronounced dead.
