Vasile Ballios, a 44-year-old male Greek immigrant, was shot and killed late on February 7, 1992, outside the Private Eyes Too Club at 61st Street and Passyunk Avenue in Philadelphia. Although his death occurred in Philadelphia, the available reporting described him as a Middletown, Delaware County man who had lived there for years after earlier stops in Chester and Brookhaven. He was a husband, a father of two, and a longtime painter and painting supervisor.
