Dontae Bernard Johnson, a 23-year-old African American male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on March 18, 2016, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was a victim of a senseless act of gun violence, having been robbed and shot 12 times before being left in a parking lot where he was pronounced dead.
