In the late spring of 2015, the St. Louis community was shaken by the violent death of Clinton Johnson, a 24-year-old Black male resident of the city. On the afternoon of May 29, 2015, authorities were summoned to a residential area in the 5200 block of St. Louis Avenue following reports of gunfire.
