On November 25, 2020, Bryon McClelland, a 31-year-old man from Terrell, Texas, was shot to death in the backyard of a home in the 900 block of South Frances Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found a large crowd and McClelland dead from a gunshot wound. The suspect was known to the police but remained at large at the time, and the motive for the shooting was still under investigation.
