In the winter of 2014, a single gunshot shattered the evening calm on a north St. Louis street, claiming the life of 48-year-old Tawana Stevenson. On the night of Monday, December 29th, police were called to the 4100 block of Enright Avenue around 8:17 p.m. following a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Stevenson on a porch with a fatal gunshot wound to her chest.
