Christopher Michael Rivet, a 41-year-old male resident of Conroe, Texas, tragically died on September 14, 2015. Charles Edmondson, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on September 18, 2015, for the alleged murder of Rivet. Edmondson was taken into custody after police followed up with two persons of interest, one of whom was Edmondson. He was out on parole for a 2010 burglary conviction and had a history of other criminal activities, including a drug-related charge in 2001. Edmondson was held in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond and was set to be extradited to Montgomery County within 10 days.
The investigation into Rivet's murder continued, with law enforcement working diligently to gather more evidence and information. The case highlighted the challenges and complexities of solving violent crimes and bringing perpetrators to justice.
