Raymond Dale "Red" Litchfield, a 49-year-old Caucasian male from Copperas Cove, Texas, was tragically found dead in his home on January 29, 1999. He was a lifelong resident of Copperas Cove and had spent his life working in the construction business. On the day of his death, he was found by his wife, Margaret Litchfield, in the kitchen of their home, having suffered gunshot wounds from a .22-caliber weapon.
